CANBERRA WINE REGION

The Canberra wine district is an elevated region with varying altitudes and a climate that varies from crisp winters to dry summers. Winemaking in Murrumbateman began in the 1970s and is now home to a large number of cellar doors and vineyards. Murrumbateman is considered the heart of the Canberra cool climate wine region, producing some of Australia’s most loved cool climate Riesling and Shiraz as well as outstanding Viognier, Sangiovese, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Tempranillo, Rose and Chardonnays.

MURRUMBATEMAN WINERY TRAIL

The Murrumbateman Winery Trail starts conveniently at the end of our street. Soon to be fully completed, it will take you on a 14km loop of Murrumbateman Village and surrounds. This purpose built trail keeps you safe and off the roads while you explore and soak up the vistas. We are 100% local owned and operated and can't wait to share our knowledge with you to personalise a unique experience for a day you'll never forget. We know you'll love Murrumbateman (and it's wine) just as much as we do.
